The 2005 Beneteau 57 is a 57-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built around a design that earned icon status across its production run. Powered by a single 160 hp Yanmar diesel engine, she cruises at 9.5 knots and carries carbon mast, boom, and rudder—the latter custom-designed by naval architect Bruce Farr. The boat bristles with performance gear: electric in-mast mainsail furler, electric genoa furler, carbon spinnaker pole, custom stainless bow sprit, and five of six electric winches. An oversized stainless arch and electric swim platform complete the deck layout.
The interior spans three cabins and three heads across a bright, open plan suited to extended cruising or anchoring. Galley amenities include a two-drawer refrigerator, separate freezer system, and water maker producing 40 gallons per hour. The aft owner's cabin and salon each have a 32" and 43" smart TV respectively. Navigation is handled by extensive B&G electronics and a Fusion audio system with a secondary control unit in the cockpit.
Electrical systems underwent major upgrades from 2023 into 2024. The boat now carries 800Ah 24V lithium batteries with individual battery management systems, complemented by 600Ah 12V lithium batteries. Power management includes three Victron B2B chargers, a Victron 24V alternator controller, dual Victron inverter chargers, and a 1500W solar panel array. Engine, generator, and bow thruster all received recent refits. All lighting has been converted to LED. Sails—genoa, mainsail, code zero, and asymmetrical spinnaker—were serviced in 2024, as were all electric winches. Additional 2023–2024 additions include synthetic teak decking, front and aft dodger covers with an opening upper section, dinghy lift system, and an eight-person life raft.
