2005 Boston Whaler 270 Outrage

The 2005 Boston Whaler 270 Outrage is a 27-foot sportfish designed around serious fishing capability. Powered by twin Mercury 225 Verado engines, it reaches 45 knots and cruises at 35 knots. The boat features Boston Whaler's Accutrack hull system with a deep-V design and reverse chines for a soft, dry ride and strong tracking.

The layout prioritizes fishing access and storage throughout. Three insulated in-deck fishboxes are complemented by a 334-quart bow storage compartment with drain and pump-out that can serve as a fourth box. A lighted 23-gallon transom livewell offers raw-water fill. Ten rod racks and eleven rod holders are distributed across the boat, with additional storage in the lockable bow compartment. The leaning post incorporates a bait station with cutting board, knife and leader holder, two rod holders, and a stainless steel grab rail; a 94-quart cooler sits secured beneath it.

Seating is versatile: two removable-cushion bow benches, a leaning post with removable backrest and folding footrest, a molded seat forward of the console, and a stern bench that folds into the transom. The enclosed console includes a portable head, sink, and pump-out. A lockable console provides additional security.

The engines have approximately 1050 hours and are reported in good condition with maintenance records available. Electronics are recent additions, including new Garmin GPS, radar, Fusion radio, VHF radio, and new LED lighting throughout. The boat comes with a 2021 trailer equipped with surge brakes.
