2005 Carver 560 Voyager Sky

The 2005 Carver 560 Voyager Sky is a 56-foot motor yacht built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Volvo Penta D-12 EVC diesel engines delivering 1,350 total horsepower. This particular example is configured with a single helm station positioned on the flybridge, which frees the main deck for an expansive entertainment area. The main salon flows seamlessly into a sprawling forward lounge with panoramic frameless windows, creating an open, light-filled social space centered around a large flat-screen television and C-shaped seating. The upper flybridge provides the command center with full 360-degree visibility, while also serving as a secondary social deck with guest seating.

The yacht sleeps up to six across three staterooms and two heads. The master suite occupies the full beam amidships and features a centerline queen bed, private ensuite head, and separate tub-shower combination. Forward is a VIP stateroom with a centerline queen, and a third stateroom with twin bunks. The galley is positioned between the main salon and forward lounge, with granite-style flooring, side-by-side Sub-Zero refrigeration, a convection microwave-oven, and a separate built-in oven.

The boat is equipped with bow and stern thrusters, a hydraulic swimplatform, and a Kohler 23kw generator with sound shield. Climate control is handled through a multi-zone reverse cycle marine heat and air conditioning system. Teak and holly custom flooring runs throughout, and blue LED underwater lights are installed. A flybridge refrigerator and icemaker are included.

The engines have approximately 1,265 hours and the generator around 3,600 hours. Recent work includes replacement of the inverter, battery charger, and generator board, as well as bottom paint and installation of underwater lights in 2024, with buffing and waxing in 2026. Some items require attention: navigation electronics are inoperable, dashboard gauges are dim, the starboard bow rail is bent, trim tabs are bolted in place, the bridge air conditioning is disconnected, the port water tank has a small leak, and minor cosmetic wear is present on exterior seating and upholstery. These issues are typical for a 20-year-old boat and are all repairable.
