2005 Comar Comet 41S

The Comar Comet 41S is a 42-foot cruising sailboat built in 2005 with a fiberglass hull and single 40 hp Lombardini diesel engine. The design accommodates two cabins—including a forward owner's quarters—plus a large head with separate shower cubicle. The yacht is rigged with a steel bowsprit, rod standing rigging, and a Harken full-batten mainsail system paired with a removable staysail. Maximum speed reaches 6 knots.

Equipment includes a 3-blade J-Prop propeller, Raymarine electronics with three jumbo displays at the mast, Webasto diesel heating, solar panel, autopilot, and a retractable davit for an outboard motor. The cockpit features a splash hood and teak decking. An integrated Hi-Fi system provides both internal and external speakers.

Recent maintenance has included new membrane sails—mainsail and genoa—installed in 2020, and replacement seacocks in 2019. The teak cockpit was refinished in 2017, and a new staysail with textile stay was fitted in 2015. The yacht has been maintained consistently and is in very good condition.
