2005 Cruisers Yachts 280 CXi Express

The 2005 Cruisers Yachts 280 CXi is a 28-foot fiberglass express cruiser built on a modified-V hull with a 10-foot beam. Twin Volvo Penta 4.3L gasoline engines deliver 450 horsepower and have 528 hours of operation. The boat reaches a top speed of nearly 35 knots and cruises at 26 knots while maintaining reasonable fuel economy.

The layout centers around an open main salon with sleeping areas forward and aft separated by curtains rather than bulkheads—typical of mid-cabin design at this size. The cockpit features a double-wide helm seat, fore- and aft-facing settees, and a removable table. A walk-through windshield with molded steps provides straightforward access to the foredeck.
