2005 Cruisers Yachts 540 Express

The 2005 Cruisers Yachts 540 Express is a 54-foot fiberglass express cruiser built for extended offshore cruising. Powered by twin Volvo D-12 diesel engines producing 1,430 total horsepower, the boat combines performance with substantial accommodation and entertaining space. The helm area wraps around the pilothouse, providing easy access for pilot and co-pilot alike, while the aft deck features a horseshoe lounge that electrically converts to a large sunpad. A hardtop with opening sunroof shelters the upper deck, and the wet bar with refrigerator and icemaker supports onboard entertaining.

Below deck, the yacht contains two staterooms and two heads arranged for both comfort and privacy. The forward stateroom includes an island berth and the master stateroom, located amidships, features an island berth and walk-in cedar-lined closet. The galley is well-equipped with a large refrigerator and freezer combination, double sink, three-burner electric stove, microwave with convection oven, and coffee maker. A spacious crescent-shaped dinette with electric lift table and adjacent bar-style seating provide dining options for guests and crew.

The boat is outfitted with substantial systems and conveniences: Onan 13.5 kW generator, 1,800-watt inverter, Cruisair air conditioning throughout, bow thruster, Starlink connectivity, underwater lights, and an 800-pound davit. An 1800-watt Newmar Phase Three battery charger manages power storage. The galley includes a Splendide 2000 S washer and dryer combination. The engine room has been deep cleaned with rust mitigation work completed, and includes camera monitoring. At the time of recent service, the Volvo engines showed 984 hours of operation.
