This 58-foot Custom Carolina is a fiberglass cruiser powered by twin MAN diesel engines producing 2,100 horsepower combined. The hull design, based on naval architect Donald Blount's well-regarded plans, is known for a soft, comfortable ride in various sea conditions. The boat cruises at 28 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 39 knots, with fuel capacity of 1,000 gallons across two tanks installed in 2020.
The interior accommodates three cabins and two heads. A comprehensive refit completed in 2024 included new soft goods throughout, Cambria Quartz countertops, LED lighting, and a new modular water maker. The teak deck and mezzanine were replaced three years ago. Entertainment and navigation systems include all-Garmin electronics and a new JL Audio sound system.
Performance-oriented features include dual SeaKeeper 5 gyroscopic stabilizers, a custom live-well and tuna tube system, and a Dometic ice chipper. The bottom and running gear were serviced and repainted in October 2024. The boat is equipped for extended offshore operation with systems maintained to current specifications.
