2005 Custom FPB 83

This 2005 Custom FPB 83 is the original yacht in the FPB series, designed by Steve and Linda Dashew. Built from aluminum, she measures 83 feet in length with a 17.92-foot beam and is powered by twin John Deere diesel engines rated at 300 horsepower each. The design reflects serious ocean-going capability, with a hull form and construction suited for extended blue-water cruising.

The interior showcases high-gloss honey teak throughout, executed by Kelly Archer. The layout includes three cabins and three heads, providing comfortable accommodations for extended voyages. The quality of the interior joinery and finish remains in excellent condition.

This yacht was developed as a genuine cruising platform, with the designers having tested the design extensively during their own extended passage-making. The FPB 83 combines seaworthiness, comfort, and practical motor yacht performance in a single package suited to serious ocean travel.
