2005 Custom Thriller Powerboats Super Cat 55

This 55-foot Custom Thriller SuperCat is a twin-hulled catamaran built on a fiberglass hull designed for speed and stability. Powered by twin Yammer 6LY440 diesel engines equipped with Arneson surface drives and VEEM props, it delivers high-performance capability. The engines run approximately 106 hours since a complete 2021 rebuild and are paired with ZF286A gears. The boat is USCG-certified and carries a Certificate of Inspection rated for 43 passengers plus 2 crew.

The interior features ceramic coating throughout for durability and easy maintenance, with custom premium vinyl seating and a fully lit forward cabin. The helm is outfitted with Yammie engine displays, a Garmin GPSmap 743, NMEA 2000 networking, and a custom dash with Blue Sea switches. Entertainment includes a Fusion MS-RA70 stereo system backed by Rockford Fosgate amplification and 14 speakers, plus a public address system. The boat also has a Minn Kota 4-bank battery charger.

Mechanical systems are comprehensive and well-maintained. Twin Fire Boy fire shut-down systems are installed in the engine compartment alongside oil coolers for the engines and hydraulic steering system, twin wet exhaust systems, and dual Racor 900MA fuel filters. Safety equipment includes 45 adult and 5 child PFDs, three USCG-approved fire extinguishers with current inspections, and full certification documentation for commercial operations.

Additional equipment includes a full boat cover, an extra set of unused VEEM props, a boat lift with poly tanks and Firstmate PRO controller with two blowers and remote, and a 1993 Myco trailer with dually twin axles. The boat has operated exclusively in fresh water since its 2021 rebuild.
