The Katama 30 is a 30-foot fiberglass jet boat designed by C.W. Hood, drawing from the same design philosophy that later inspired the Lyman-Morse Hood 35. Powered by a single 440-horsepower Yammer diesel engine, she cruises at 27.81 knots and is built for the demanding conditions of Downeast waters. Her jet drive paired with joystick control and an integrated bow thruster make maneuvering straightforward in tight spaces.
The single cabin includes one head and standard accommodations for cruising. The boat has been professionally maintained and stored over the past four seasons. Recent upgrades include all new cushions installed in 2025, along with a new inverter and battery system.
Clean lines and modern handling define her appearance and feel on the water. The Katama 30 combines the proven performance of the C.W. Hood design with thoughtful updates, creating a capable platform for serious boating.
