The Egg Harbor 43 SportYacht is a fiberglass motor yacht built on a design by Michael Peters that emphasizes both seakeeping and efficiency. The hull features a slightly concave bottom with prop pockets that reduce draft to 3.5 feet, enabling access to shallow waters throughout the Bahamas and along the Eastern seaboard. These pockets also allow a reduced shaft angle, directing thrust more parallel to the water's surface for improved fuel economy. Combined with a moderate 17-degree deadrise at the transom, the design delivers a smooth and stable ride.
