2005 Formula 40 Performance Cruiser

This 2005 Formula 40 Performance Cruiser is built on a fiberglass hull with a wide 12.67-foot beam and powered by twin Yanmar 6LY2A-STP diesel engines producing 880 horsepower. The boat combines the 40 PC's known strengths—sleek lines, solid construction, and a spacious cockpit suited for entertaining—with a well-appointed interior designed for extended cruising comfort.

The boat carries a full complement of modern electronics including a Garmin chartplotter with autopilot installed in late 2022, Raymarine depth sounder, Standard Horizon VHF radio, and a high-performance Starlink system added in early 2025. Onboard systems include a Westerbeke generator, bow thruster, and a Dometic 16,000 BTU air conditioning and heating unit with digital thermostat installed in 2023. Entertainment features upgraded Rockford Fosgate speakers throughout, a cockpit television, and salon television.

Recent upgrades and maintenance work includes new cabin carpeting, new shafts and shaft seals, custom insulated exhaust wraps, new hatches above the helm, SeaDek decking, new vinyl in the cabin bathroom and stair areas, and fresh oil and filter service. The boat was operated on fresh water until 2021 and has benefited from professional management since September 2023.
