2005 Fox Island Thirty - Sedan Cruiser

The Fox Island Thirty is a 30-foot down-east sedan cruiser built in Miramichi, New Brunswick by Fox Island Yachts, a builder known for commercial working boats engineered to handle severe weather. This boat combines that rugged heritage with yacht-standard interior finishes and systems, creating a capable cruising platform suited to extended voyaging.

Power comes from a single 315-horsepower Yammer diesel engine with 1,395 cruising hours. The boat cruises at 13.6 knots and is equipped with trim tabs for improved handling. A Yammer generator in a sound shield provides auxiliary power, also with minimal hours.

The interior features one cabin, one head, and custom cabinetry throughout. Climate control includes a two-zone air-conditioning system. Navigation and fish-finding capability come from a Garmin GPSmap XS plotter-radar-fishfinder. A bow thruster from Side Power adds maneuverability in tight spaces. The interior includes a custom mattress.

A significant refit was completed in 2019, including installation of the generator. The boat has been actively cruised and maintained since that work.
