The 2005 Hinckley Talaria 29R is a composite-built runabout finished in flag blue topsides with light cream gelcoat deck and boot stripe. The hull features DualGuard construction with Kevlar and E-glass skin, balsa and Corecell core, and SCRIMP molding. A rare custom aluminum-framed soft top distinguishes this boat. Power comes from a Yanmar 440-horsepower diesel with Twin Disc transmission and Hamilton 292 waterjet drive, delivering a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 31 knots. The boat is equipped with a JetStick steering control integrated with a 12-volt bow thruster, trim tabs, and joystick control for responsive handling.

The cockpit is appointed throughout with full teak package detailing: varnished teak toe rail, dash covering, and sole, with a three-window curved windshield framed in teak. The design includes an L-shaped lounge to port seating four, a teak-topped engine box with built-in sink and insulated cooler, and aft seating at the transom. The forward cuddy cabin is finished in satin-varnished cherry with white acoustic overhead, featuring a V-berth, vacu-flush toilet plumbed to a 10-gallon holding tank, opening hatch for ventilation, and cabin lighting.

Systems include a 12-volt electrical setup with 420-amp-hour battery capacity, dual bilge pumps with float switches, manual hydraulic steering, Racor fuel filter separator, and lead-lined engine box insulation. Navigation and entertainment equipment encompasses a Raymarine E-series chart plotter, ICOM DSC VHF radio, Ritchie compass, and Fusion Bluetooth marine stereo. The teak-decked swim platform features teak insert treads and a telescoping folding ladder. New batteries were installed in March 2025.
