2005 Hunter 33

This 2005 Hunter 33 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat with a shoal keel design by Glenn Henderson. At 33 feet 6 inches overall with an 11-foot 6-inch beam, the boat draws just 5 feet 6 inches, making it well-suited for shallow-water exploration. Power comes from a Yammer 29-horsepower diesel engine with fewer than 400 hours of use—an upgrade from the original 22-horsepower unit—paired with a three-blade VARIPROP feathering propeller. Fuel capacity is 25 gallons, with 50 gallons of fresh water and a 25-gallon holding tank.

Below deck, the boat sleeps six across two cabins with six feet four inches of headroom. The galley includes a stainless steel sink with a new single-lever faucet, a refrigerator with freezer, and microwave. The single head features a Jabsco manual toilet. New Sunbrella Temperpedic mattresses were installed in the aft and V-berth in 2021. A 28-inch Samsung television and Fusion Bluetooth stereo system with cockpit speakers provide entertainment.

The rigging is a Selden backstayless rig with an anodized B&R mast. Main and Genoa sails are both furling with new halyards, sheets, and lines as of 2024. An asymmetrical spinnaker in like-new condition is included. Winches are Lewmar self-tailers. Electronics include a B&G Vulcan 7-inch chart plotter, Raymarine ST4000+ autopilot, ST60 instruments for speed and depth, and an Icom dual-station VHF radio.

Recent upgrades include a 12,000-BTU heat and air-conditioning system, electric windlass, solar panels with controller and monitoring, new batteries and alternator, full enclosure bimini and dodger, LED cabin lighting, and a Digital Yacht 4G WiFi extender. A custom transom davit system from Atkins & Hoyle was added in 2023. The boat comes with a Highfield CL260 dinghy powered by a 9.8-horsepower Tohatsu engine, both new in 2024 with a five-year warranty.
