2005 Hunter 33

The 2005 Hunter 33 is a 33-foot cruising sailboat built on a proven design that balances spacious accommodation with manageable handling. The hull is fiberglass with an 11.5-foot beam and shoal keel draft, yielding good interior volume while remaining suitable for coastal and shallow-water cruising. Power comes from a Yanmar diesel engine rated at 19 hp. The boat is rigged with an in-mast furling mainsail and roller furling jib, enabling single-handed or short-handed sailing.

The interior layout centers on an open salon with natural light, a full galley fitted with a two-burner range, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and Corian countertops, and a spacious U-shaped dinette. Forward is a V-berth cabin, while the aft master stateroom offers substantial headroom and storage. An enclosed head with shower and hot/cold water serves the accommodations. Shore power, air conditioning, and heating are installed.

Topside, the wide side decks provide unobstructed movement, and the large cockpit accommodates both comfortable seating and single-handed sailing. A walk-through transom leads to a swim platform. Electronics include Raymarine GPS and chartplotter, autopilot, depth, wind, and speed instruments, plus VHF radio. Storage is abundant throughout the boat.
