2005 Hunter 36

This 2005 Hunter 36 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat powered by a Yanmar diesel engine producing 29 horsepower. At 34.5 feet in length with a 12-foot beam, she offers a manageable platform for coastal and offshore sailing. The boat has operated exclusively in freshwater and comes with a detailed maintenance log.

The yacht was equipped from the factory with in-mast furling, halyard clutches, a mainsheet traveler, Raymarine C-80 chartplotter with ST60 depth and speed instruments, refrigerator, LPG stove and oven, microwave, and air conditioning with reverse cycle heating. Additional factory options include an electric anchor windlass, VHF remote microphone, bimini, and an Edson folding wheel.

The owner has invested substantially in upgrades and maintenance. A new dodger and full enclosure were installed in 2017 and 2019 respectively. New sails were fitted in 2022, and new batteries were installed in 2025. The fuel system was upgraded with a Racor 500MA filter and an onboard fuel polishing system. Navigation equipment was enhanced with a Raymarine ST6002 autopilot and ST60 wind instrument. Deck upgrades include an Autoprop three-blade propeller, 100 feet of chain rode, and a second anchor with rode. Interior mattresses in the V-berth and aft cabin were replaced, and Oceanair Skyscreens were added. Bottom paint is ablative.
