2005 Hunter 38

This 2005 Hunter 38 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built for comfortable offshore passaging and easy day sailing. At 38 feet long with a 12-foot beam, she carries a single 40-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine and is rigged with an in-mast furling mainsail and furling jib for versatile sail handling. An electric Lewmar winch on the starboard coachroof aids sail management.

The interior accommodates two cabins and one head. The saloon features a convertible table that opens into additional lounge space, and floorboards are in fresh condition. A new Isotherm front-load refrigerator provides cooling, while a Bose Soundwave stereo system rounds out the cabin amenities.

Navigation and engine instrumentation are current and comprehensive. A new Raymarine AXIOM 9 plotter and multifunction display sits at the helm, supported by a Raymarine 6001 autopilot, ST60 wind and speed displays, and radar. Engine hours are estimated at approximately 4,000, with a new engine panel recently installed. A Balmar high-output alternator and twin 250-amp solar panels on the arch keep the electrical system robust, monitored by a Zantrax display at the navigation desk.
