The 2005 Hydra-Sports Vector 2800 CC is a 28-foot center console sportfish powered by twin Yamaha 300 four-stroke engines with approximately 495 hours. The fiberglass hull features Kevlar reinforcement and delivers a maximum speed of 62 knots with a cruising speed of 38 knots, supported by a fuel capacity of roughly 250 gallons and fresh water capacity of 20 gallons. The boat offers a cruising range exceeding 500 miles and is designed for confident blue-water operation.
The layout includes a center console with a toilet, bow and transom seating with cushions added within the past year, and a helm station. The T-top structure has new fabric. Equipment includes two Garmin chartplotters, Garmin radar, Garmin VHF, night vision, an autopilot system that tracks and follows a preset course independently, new taco bases and outriggers, and phone booth curtains and wings. All switches and pumps are in working order.
Engine service was completed with new water pumps before a July 2025 crossing. The engines were repowered in 2015. All service is current with receipts available. The marine mat is several years old. The helm cushions and side balusters remain on the to-do list.
The boat includes a matching tandem-axle trailer upgraded in 2025 with new tires, hubs, springs, equalizers, U-bolts, brake calipers, and rotors, plus new trailer bunk brackets.
