2005 Mainship 400 Trawler

This 2005 Mainship 400 is a 40-foot fiberglass trawler powered by twin Yanmar 240 hp diesel engines with only 1,200 hours. The boat is built around the classic Mainship design, known for its seaworthiness and comfortable cruising capability, with a substantial flybridge that offers generous entertaining space and sightlines.

The interior and upper deck have undergone significant recent updates. The galley includes a new large refrigerator, and the head is newly electric. The flybridge features a custom summer kitchen with a 3-burner propane stove and bar refrigerator, along with extensive seating. A full Bimini and bridge enclosure installed in February 2026 provides weather protection. The cockpit and bridge stairs are fitted with new SeaDek flooring.

Power management has been modernized with a new off-grid system: three solar panels integrated into the Bimini, two 200 Ah lithium house batteries, a solar charge controller, and a 12V-to-12V battery charger. The helm features a brand-new Raymarine Axiom+ chartplotter, sonar, and autopilot. Additional systems include a bow thruster and newly installed fire suppression cylinders in the engine and generator spaces.

The boat is equipped with a 10-foot Caribe RIB tender, a Mercury 6 hp outboard, and a dedicated tender lift. The hull was professionally repaired following minor scratches and is in sound condition.
