2005 Maxum 1800 MX

The Maxum 1800 MX is an 18-foot bowrider built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single MerCruiser 3.0-litre 135 hp gasoline engine with alpha 1 gen 2 outdrive. The boat reaches speeds up to 40 mph while maintaining reasonable fuel economy. It comes equipped with an extreme twin axle trailer fitted with a light board and straps.

The open layout features generous bow seating with back cushions, a helm bucket seat with bolster, port back-to-back seating that converts to a lounger, and aft jump seats. The cockpit includes red tonneau covers and a full red bimini with cockpit enclosure. A wraparound windshield with opening section protects the helm, while a swim platform with bathing ladder serves the stern.

Instrumentation comprises Faria engine gauges including fuel, oil pressure, water temperature, speedometer, trim, and voltmeter, along with a depth gauge and compass for navigation. The electrical system runs on a 12-volt battery charged via the engine alternator, with manual and automatic bilge blower options. Safety equipment includes electric bilge pumps, navigation lights, horn, and a lanyard-style ignition cutoff. A JBL AM/FM/CD stereo with weatherproof speakers and twin speakers accompanies the entertainment.

Additional features include an integrated swim platform, stainless steel ski tow ring, mooring cleats, grab handles, vented in-floor storage, lockable glove box, and an anchor with chain and warp. The boat has been consistently stored out of the water when not in use.
