2005 Monterey 298SS Super Sport

This 2005 Monterey 298SS is a 32-foot cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Mercruiser gasoline engines. The boat features a single cabin with one head and sleeps multiple guests, making it well-suited for family outings and extended anchorages.

The layout centers on a spacious cockpit designed for entertaining, with a manual table insert and a large sunpad across the stern. Below, the cabin offers custom diamond-stitched upholstery throughout. Recent additions include a fresh JL Audio system with a head unit, 14 speakers, three subwoofers and three amplifiers, multicolor underwater lighting, and full RGB LED lighting across the boat. The helm dashboard has been upgraded with Garmin electronics, and wireless phone chargers are installed at the helm and in the cabin. New Sea Deck covers the deck surfaces.

The boat spent its entire life in fresh water. Recent mechanical work includes replacement gimbal bearings, bellows, and exhaust manifolds, along with new shift cables. The bottom received fresh paint with an epoxy barrier in 2025, and new canvas covers have been fitted. Engine fluids and transmission fluid are serviced seasonally.
