The 2005 Ocean Alexander 64 Pilothouse is a fiberglass-hulled motor yacht powered by twin 1700-horsepower Detroit Diesel engines, delivering a cruising speed of 17 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots. At 64 feet in length with a 17.5-foot beam, the yacht offers substantial capability and comfort for extended cruising.
Accommodations include three cabins and two heads, with a pilothouse and flybridge providing multiple command and observation stations. The interior features a full salon with updated furnishings, new carpeting throughout, and three staterooms fitted with new televisions and soundbars. The galley is equipped with new countertop appliances, cutlery, and glassware.
From July 2024 through May 2025, the yacht underwent extensive mechanical and cosmetic work. The hull and superstructure received fresh paint after sanding and fairing. Propulsion systems were serviced with new propeller shaft seals, cutlass bearings, and rudder components rebuilt. Both engines and the generator completed 2000-hour service cycles. The helm and flybridge received entirely new NEMA 2000 electronics including navigation, GPS, autopilot, radar, VHF, and AIS systems. New LED lighting replaced all halogen fixtures. Climate control pumps for the salon and pilothouse were installed, and a new Chirp transducer was added. Exterior work included fresh teak restoration on the aft deck, new underwater and flood lights, and fiberglass repairs to the swim platform and stanchions. Interior amenities include new linens, bedding, and a six-person life raft.
