The 2005 Ocean Alexander 64 Pilothouse is a 64-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin MTU Detroit Series 60 diesel engines rated at 1,650 total horsepower. The hull was designed by Ed Monk Jr. and features bronze four-blade propellers, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, and dual Bennett trim tabs for responsive handling. The interior spans three staterooms finished in high-gloss bird's eye maple with burl wood accents below deck and teak with burl accents on the upper deck and companionways. The master stateroom features a full walk-around queen berth with en-suite head finished in granite with new Tecma fixtures. The forward VIP stateroom holds a queen berth, while the port guest stateroom offers twin full berths. Both guest staterooms share a head with granite surfaces, new Tecma fixtures, and a large walk-in shower with glass doors. The main salon seats twelve and opens to a pilothouse with additional seating for six around a table.
The galley features granite countertops and floor, extensive cabinetry, and recent appliances including an LG refrigerator, GE dishwasher and microwave, Kenyon four-burner cooktop, Whirlpool oven, and in-unit washer and dryer. A wine cooler sits in the salon. Navigation and electronics include dual Simrad 20-inch plotters with radar, Simrad autopilot and VHF, AIS, and a five-inch Ritchie compass. The yacht carries a Simrad weather monitor, new Starlink Wi-Fi, four cameras, and comprehensive engine monitoring. Power comes from dual Northern Light generators (23 kW and 12 kW) with new lithium-ion house batteries and a 4 kW Victron inverter. A 1,500 GPD water maker, oil transfer system, and Cruisair air conditioning with four 16 kW units support extended cruising. Additional equipment includes a 12-foot AB rigid inflatable tender with 50 HP Yamaha outboard, 406 EPIRB, six-person life raft, and hydraulic davit.
The aft deck features teak sole, swim platform, and cockpit with a Force 10 propane grill, removable teak table with four folding chairs, and underwater lights. The flybridge includes dual helm chairs, teak table with U-shaped settee, bar sink, and fiberglass hardtop. The engine room offers full headroom, walk-around access, and houses the hydraulic systems for stabilizers, thrusters, and windlass, all driven by dual PTO connections. Fire suppression systems protect the engine room and lazarette.
