2005 Peterson 35 RS

This 2005 Peterson 35 RS is a raised-salon cruiser designed by naval architect Doug Peterson and built by Martin Yachts. Repowered in 2020 with a 30hp Beta Marine diesel engine (255 hours) and fitted with a Volvo 110 saildrive and 2-blade folding propeller, the boat delivers modern reliability in a proven fiberglass hull. She cruises at 6.5 knots and reaches 8 knots at full speed, with a displacement of 13,200 lbs.

The raised salon is the defining feature, offering nearly 360-degree visibility, abundant natural light, and generous headroom for a boat of this size. Below deck there is one cabin and one head. The epoxy-bedded teak decks are fastened without mechanical penetrations through the deck. Water capacity is 108 gallons. A Dickinson Alaska diesel heater provides warmth underway.

The sailing inventory includes a 120% roller furling genoa from 2017 and a mainsail. A Zodiac Zoom 260 dinghy with Yamaha 4hp outboard is included. Recent work completed in 2024 and 2025 includes new house batteries, a new macerator pump, bottom paint, zinc replacement, and topside wax.
