2005 Robalo R220 Center Console
About This Yacht
This 2005 Robalo R220 is a single-owner center console built as a collaborative project between Robalo and Volvo Penta to introduce diesel power to the American center console market. The boat is powered by a 190 horsepower Volvo Penta D3 diesel engine with a jack drive and dual props connected to a Volvo Duo-Prop outdrive. It has logged only 650 original hours and cruises efficiently at 25 to 30 mph, with a documented top speed of 37 mph, while consuming approximately 4 gallons per hour at cruise.
The boat features a deep vee hull design suited for offshore work. The center console layout includes a live baitwell tank, fishbox with macerator pump, 12 rod holders, automatic trim tabs independent of outdrive trim, and a full electronics suite: Raymarine Axion 9-inch chart plotter with sonar, Raymarine Dome 48-mile radar, and Raymarine S-1000 autopilot. Additional equipment includes a T-top, wrap-around center console curtains, seawater deck wash, and a new shifter control.
The boat comes with a tandem-axle trailer and is presented in good condition with all systems functional. Its distinctive configuration—a diesel-powered center console with the efficiency and range that comes with that setup—makes it uncommon in its class.
