The 2005 Sea Ray 300 Sundancer is a 33-foot cruiser built around twin Mercruiser 5.0L MPI Bravo V-8 engines totaling 520 horsepower. The starboard engine was rebuilt and fitted with a new transom assembly in 2024, with approximately 50 hours on it; the port engine has roughly 560 hours. The boat reaches speeds up to 33 knots and cruises comfortably at 25 knots, powered by 170 gallons of fuel capacity split between dual tanks.
The open cabin layout sleeps six to eight across a bow berth, mid-cabin berth, aft cabin berth, and stern deck berth. The galley features an electric two-burner cooktop, microwave, and both a galley and cockpit refrigerator, with Corian countertops and a diner booth. A single head with shower serves the accommodation spaces, and a cockpit shower provides additional convenience. Hot water, air conditioning, and heat are installed throughout.
Electronics include a Simrad NSS9 Evo3s 9-inch touchscreen multifunction display with fish finder, depth sounder, and chart plotter, plus VHF radio, AM/FM stereo with CD player and auxiliary input, and amplified speakers in the cockpit and cabin. A 5-kilowatt gasoline-powered Kohler generator provides independent power, with shore power connection also available.
Recent updates include new isinglass panels—three forward and two side pieces—and new cockpit carpet in oatmeal Berber with snap-in installation. Three new navigation lights were installed on the starboard and port sides and radar arch. A new shower sump tank and pump were added, and the engine compartment fire extinguisher is new as of 2023. The hull has been bottom-painted and waxed above and below the rail for the current season. The boat has been serviced and maintained with documented receipts from a local marina service center.
