2005 Sea Ray 500 Sundancer

The 2005 Sea Ray 500 Sundancer is a 50-foot motor yacht with a fiberglass hull powered by twin Cummins QSM11 diesel engines producing 1,280 horsepower combined. The boat features a bow thruster and hydraulic swim platform. Navigation and fish-finding equipment includes newer Garmin electronics, radar, a CHIRP transducer installed in 2025, and a Garmin display mounted at the arch. Additional technology includes FLIR night vision and underwater LEDs.

The layout includes two cabins, two heads, and a galley with refrigeration. The cockpit is outfitted with a custom sun shade with poles, snap-down carpet with a grey teak and holly design, hard Macralon isinglass, a smart TV, and a custom transom TV. The galley and cockpit each have refrigerators. A Fusion stereo system provides entertainment throughout the boat.

Recent service and upgrades span 2024 and 2025. The engines and transmissions received a 1,000-hour service in 2024, along with new turbos and exhausts. The Onan 13.5-kilowatt generator, a 2024 remanufactured unit, has under 300 hours. Additional work includes a 2024 bottom job, 2025 rudder seals, 2025 carpet runners, 2024 shaft seals with spares, and 2025 heads service. Cockpit upholstery and appliances are new as of 2024.
