2005 Selene 40 Ocean Trawler

The Selene 40 is a 45-foot fiberglass trawler designed for comfortable cruising in coastal and open waters. Built in 2005, this boat combines traditional trawler lines with modern systems and equipment. The single 185-horsepower Perkins diesel engine delivers efficient performance, while the shallow 1.45-meter draft suits extended cruising and coastal navigation.

The interior comprises two spacious cabins—including a master with a queen-size bed—along with two heads and a bright saloon. The large cockpit provides ample space for entertaining or quiet time at anchor. The layout balances living space with the functional design typical of serious cruising yachts.

Navigation and seamanship are supported by full Raymarine electronics including radar, GPS, AIS, autopilot, and depth sounder. Bow and stern thrusters ease maneuvering in close quarters. A 7-kilowatt Northern Lights generator powers comprehensive air conditioning throughout multiple zones. The water filtration system and generous tank capacity support extended passages away from shore.

The engine received service and the hull was last antifouled in 2024. The boat is equipped and maintained for immediate cruising.
