The 2005 Silverton 38 Convertible is a fiberglass sportfish designed around exceptional interior volume and comfort. Built with a deep-V hull, solid fiberglass construction with vinylester barrier coat, and a wide 14.25-foot beam, this boat balances serious fishing capability with genuine cruising accommodation. Twin Cummins 370 HP diesel engines—factory rebuilt—provide propulsion, supported by a Kohler 8 kW generator, bow thruster, and upgraded Magnum inverter and battery charging systems.
The accommodations feature two private staterooms and a convertible salon settee that sleeps up to six. The master stateroom has a pedestal berth with storage; the guest cabin offers twin berths. A split head arrangement separates the shower from the toilet and vanity. The salon features cherry cabinetry, Corian countertops, and wraparound windows that flood the space with natural light.
Deck layout prioritizes both function and entertaining. The cockpit includes in-deck fish boxes and fishing capability alongside entertaining space. A molded staircase—rather than a ladder—accesses the spacious flybridge, which offers clear helm visibility and ample seating. SeaDeck covers the cockpit and flybridge. A hardtop with full enclosure shelters the flybridge. Current electronics include Garmin and Raymarine systems.
The interior was refinished with cherry cabinetry and Corian countertops. A baitwell is installed. The boat was recently repowered with factory rebuilt engines and received upgrades to electrical and inverter systems.
