The 2005 Stamas 370 Express is a 42-foot sportfish with twin Yanmar 440 HP diesel engines delivering 880 horsepower combined and cruising speeds around 27 knots with a top speed of 34 knots. The boat has been maintained consistently from new and features updated electronics including Lowrance HDS plotters at the helm and tower, along with Lowrance HD radar and Floscan engine monitoring. A 6.0 kW Northern Lights generator provides auxiliary power.
The fishing setup is comprehensive, with outriggers, rocket launchers, rod holders throughout, a large livewell and fishbox, cockpit sink and cutting board. The helm is fully enclosed with isinglass. The boat accommodates up to six people with an air-conditioned cabin finished in teak, including full galley and amenities. One head is aboard. The aft cockpit seating is removable and unused.
In 2013, one engine underwent full factory-recall service while the other was completely replaced. The boat was kept in a covered slip. The fiberglass hull measures 13.17 feet at the beam.
