This 2005 Stentor 1800 is a steel-hulled cruising yacht built to CE-A Ocean standards by Dutch builders to enduring quality standards. Designed by Vripack Naval Architects with a round-bilge full displacement hull, she combines serious construction with thoughtful engineering for extended passage-making. Twin Caterpillar 185 hp diesel engines deliver economical cruising at 7 knots with a range of approximately 3,500 nautical miles on 8,000 litres of fuel. Hydraulic stabilisers, bow and stern thrusters, and dual hydraulic windlasses provide confident handling in all conditions.
The interior centres on a bright saloon finished in satin cherry with high-gloss trim. An owner's cabin aft features a king-size berth and en-suite bathroom, while a forward guest cabin completes the two-cabin layout that sleeps six. The L-shaped galley is comprehensively equipped with induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator and freezer, and washer-dryer. Throughout, double-glazed windows, hydronic central heating, and full air conditioning provide comfort for year-round cruising.
The aft deck is laid in teak with a U-shaped settee, integrated lighting, and weather canvas. An aluminium wheelhouse shelters primary controls and navigation systems including dual radar and Radio Holland equipment. Power systems include a 12 kW Fischer Panda generator, 1,340 watts of solar panels, and a substantial 1,500 Ah service bank at 24V, supporting extended autonomy. A tender Zodiac 310 with outboard completes the package.
The hull was blasted and repainted in 2024 following earlier repainting in 2018. The engine room is spacious, well-laid out, and immaculately maintained, reflecting consistent care throughout the yacht's service history.
