The 2005 Tiara 3600 Open is a 36-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Cummins diesel engines producing 760 horsepower. Built on Tiara's reputation for solid construction and seaworthy design, this express cruiser features a spacious open cockpit suited to both cruising and fishing, with a comfortable cabin below and a single head.
Recent mechanical work has been extensive. In 2024 alone, the engines received new motor mounts, alignment, and new cutlass bearings; heat exchangers were serviced; new Dometic air conditioning was installed; and the propellers were professionally tuned. The aftercooler housing and bundles were replaced in 2023, and new AGM batteries were installed in 2026. Garmin chartplotters and radar were added in 2024, complemented by a Raymarine autopilot. A Westerbeke generator with 903 hours rounds out the power systems.
The boat is well-equipped for extended use. A custom shade awning with carbon fiber poles covers the cockpit, and a full isinglass helm enclosure is fitted. Below deck, Dometic air conditioning provides climate control. Additional features include SeaBlaze underwater lighting, a full mooring cover, windshield cover, shore power with 50-amp splitter, and Starlink connectivity. The upholstery is reported in excellent condition, and the hull has received regular maintenance including bottom paint and compound and wax. A Highfield 260 RIB tender with 15-horsepower Tohatsu outboard and dinghy ramps complete the package.
