This 2005 Tiara 4200 Open is a 42-foot sportfish built on a fiberglass hull with modified Vee construction. Twin Cummins diesel engines rated at 1,340 horsepower combined power the boat through direct drive. The vessel shows 2,000 engine hours and has been maintained with recent detailing and waxing.
The open layout centers on a full fishing cockpit with a new helm step-up area finished in DEKit, updated refrigerator, and Stidd wide captain's chair. JL Audio speakers and a Fusion head unit provide sound. A freshwater cockpit shower is installed. Below, the cabin features teak and holly flooring throughout with no carpet, a full galley with Nova Cool refrigerator, stove, and microwave, and three air conditioning units. A forward VIP stateroom has a private entrance to a full standup shower and head. The bunk room is positioned on the port side as you enter the cabin.
Fishing hardware includes a tall tower with full helm controls, Lee outriggers and center rigger, four underwater lights, and a swim platform with dive ladder. Electronics comprise dual Garmin 1222 xsv 12-inch multifunction displays, Garmin radar, and Simrad autopilot with through-hull transducer. Lumitec flood lights and multicolored hard top lights illuminate the boat. The full helm enclosure is polycarbonate in excellent condition, and the tower and bow rail metals are polished. Recent work includes new cockpit upholstery and refinished helm area.
