2005 Trintella Trintella MK II

The 2005 Trintella MK II is a 50-foot cruising yacht built by Hamble Yacht Services in England with a proven offshore design. The hull is a multilayer composite of SCRIMP-molded vinyl ester, Kevlar, and aramid fibers, with a balsa-cored teak deck. The mast is carbon fiber; the boom combines aluminum and carbon fiber. Draft is 7.25 feet, requiring 90 feet bridge clearance. A single Nanni diesel engine powers the boat, with an estimated 2754 hours and a full service completed in June 2025.

The yacht accommodates three cabins and two heads. Sail inventory includes a Doyle main and jib (both four years old), a second jib six years old, two original spinnakers, and a set of original storm sails. The standing rigging was fully replaced in 2025. A self-tacking jib track is fitted, along with six Harken 48 two-speed electric winches total and a Raymarine E80 at the helm with an E120 below decks and Smartpilot X30 autopilot.

Power and systems include a new Northern Light 9kw generator (2025) and Mastervolt Whisper 8000 backup generator, plus a Mastervolt Mass Sine 24/25000 inverter. Four 220V air conditioning units are installed. A Force 10 four-burner propane stove with oven serves the galley. A portable water-maker and life raft (recently certified) are aboard. New bilge and crash pumps, new batteries, dripless seals, and fresh zincs on the prop and hull are all in place.

The deck shows no leaks from hatches or seams. The engine, generator, and transmission received full service in June 2025. The boat has no bow thruster.
