2006 Bayliner 285

This 2006 Bayliner 285 is a single-engine cruiser built on a wide beam that delivers the spaciousness of much larger boats. Powered by a MerCruiser 300 hp engine with a Bravo III outdrive, it cruises efficiently at 24 mph while burning 11.5 gallons per hour at 3,300 rpm. The engine has 431 hours and the lower unit was recently replaced.

The boat sleeps two with a queen berth beneath the helm station and a V-berth forward; the dinette also converts into additional sleeping space. Below deck are a galley with refrigerator and alcohol/electric stove, a head with shower, and a transom shower. Fuel capacity is 100 gallons, water capacity is 30 gallons, and holding tank capacity is 20 gallons.

Equipment includes VHF and plotter, windlass, searchlight, and an Xantrex 1800-watt inverter. The house battery is a 300 amp-hour LiFePo unit. Navigation and entertainment systems are supported by a full set of factory MerCruiser manuals. The boat comes with mooring and full storage covers, snap-in cockpit carpet, and a cockpit table. Fenders and dock lines are included.

A two-axle trailer is included with new axles, wheels, tires, brakes, wiring harness, and emergency brake battery. The transom shield was replaced in April 2024.
