The Bayliner 288 Classic is a 30-foot flybridge cruiser built on a proven fiberglass hull. Powered by a Mercruiser 350 MPI 300 hp petrol engine with stern drive, she delivers straightforward performance suitable for coastal cruising. The engine received a full service including leg work in December 2023 and has run approximately 20 hours since. A bow thruster assists with maneuverability in confined spaces.
Accommodation spans six berths across a functional layout that combines social areas with sleeping quarters. The saloon features a dining table, entertainment system with stereo and television, and a chart table. Galley facilities include a cooker, grill, microwave, and refrigeration. Two heads and a shower provide essential facilities, with pressurized fresh water and hot water systems throughout. Deck space on the flybridge and cockpit area suits entertaining or relaxed cruising.
Recent investment includes a comprehensive internal refit completed in 2023 that covered headlining, new carpeting, reupholstered seating and berths, and LED lighting upgrades. Navigation equipment was upgraded with a new Raymarine chart plotter fitted in December 2023. Canvas work includes a new bimini top from February 2024 and a recently replaced flybridge tonneau cover. Hull treatment with antifoul and anodes was renewed in October 2023.
Fuel capacity stands at 428 liters with 129 liters of fresh water storage. Electrical systems include four new batteries installed in 2023 with shore power capability and battery charger. Deck equipment comprises an electric windlass, anchor with chain and warp, boarding ladder, and deck shower. A new dinghy was acquired in 2021. The boat is presented ready for immediate use.
