2006 Beneteau Oceanis 50

This 2006 Beneteau Oceanis 50 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built by the French builder and launched in 2007. The hull is painted Oyster Blue with full teak decking throughout, including the cockpit and bathing platform. The boat features a 9/10th sloop rig with a Sparcraft aluminum mast and boom, twin swept spreaders, and a cutter stay. Primary sail handling relies on a furling genoa, fully-battened mainsail, and asymmetric spinnaker with sock, all controlled via Harken electric winches led back to the cockpit.

The single 110 hp Yammer diesel engine with 2,740 hours powers the yacht to a cruising speed of 7 knots and maximum speed of 9 knots. A MaxProp feathering propeller and bow thruster provide excellent maneuverability. The 240-liter fuel tank and 650-liter water capacity support extended cruising, backed by modern electrical systems including 4 x 200 Ah lithium domestic batteries, a 3000W Victron inverter, and three 380W solar panels.

Below deck, the accommodation comprises three double cabins with convertible saloon berths, two heads with electric toilets and shower partitions, and an ALPI wood interior. The galley features a four-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, two refrigeration units, a freezer, and a microwave. Climate control includes Dometic air-conditioning and a 220v heating system with calorifier. The saloon has panoramic windows with pleated blinds.

Navigation and communication are fully equipped with Raymarine systems including an E80 GPS plotter, ST6002 autopilot, gyro course computer, radome radar, AIS transceiver, and VHF with DSC. Safety gear includes a six-man liferaft, EPIRB, and emergency equipment. Additional features include an electric anchor windlass, solar arch with tender davits, Highfield RIB tender with 6 hp Yamaha outboard, full cockpit enclosure with winter and summer covers, and comprehensive deck equipment. The boat has been updated with new rigging components, batteries, solar panels, and furnishings during recent years.
