2006 Boston Whaler 180 Dauntless

This 2006 Boston Whaler 180 Dauntless is a 18.5-foot center console powered by a 135 hp Mercury OptiMax engine. The boat reaches speeds up to 36.5 knots and cruises at around 24 knots. Built on Boston Whaler's beamy, foam-filled fiberglass hull, it delivers the stability and dry ride the design is known for, making it equally suited to fishing shallow coastal waters or family watersports.

The layout centers on a full-width aft casting platform with a flip-up bench seat and an integral swim platform fitted with a telescoping ladder. Forward, an insulated fish box and rod holders serve anglers. Storage includes a lockable console compartment, under-seat lockers, and a 54-quart slide-out cooler under the reversible pilot seat. The self-bailing design keeps the deck dry in choppy conditions.

Recent improvements include a complete electronics refresh in 2021 with new stereo and speakers, updated seat cushions less than three years old, and a fresh gel coat and interior paint applied last summer. The boat comes with an EZ Loader trailer. While major systems have been maintained, the boat shows typical cosmetic wear consistent with its age and is not in showroom condition.
