2006 Bristol Channel Cutter 28

This 2006 Bristol Channel Cutter 28 is a Lyle Hess design built to Sam Morse standards, representing the final hull completed at the Morse factory in Costa Mesa. The fiberglass hull carries proven offshore cruising credentials in a compact 28-foot package with a 10.67-foot beam. She is powered by a Yammer 29 hp diesel engine with approximately 1,125 hours, recently serviced, and achieves cruising speeds around 5.5 knots.

The boat features a single cabin with one head and is rigged as a cutter with a Forespar mast and boom. Her canvas inventory includes a high-cut Yankee, staysail, triple-reef mainsail, and an unused asymmetric spinnaker. She is equipped with a distinctive Morse trim-tab self-steering system. The sails are reported to be in good condition.

The yacht has been maintained to a high standard. The varnish has been recently completed, and the hull carries Coppercoat bottom protection. The engine received recent service. She is currently hauled out and ready for her next season.
