2006 Catalina 250

The 2006 Catalina 250 is a 25-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with a swing keel design that allows shallow-water exploration and beaching. The boat is powered by a Yamaha 9.9 hp four-stroke outboard engine and comes with its trailer, which features good tires, a spare, functioning brakes, and a wireless electric winch with 12-volt battery for raising and lowering the mast.

The yacht carries comprehensive navigation and monitoring equipment, including B&G Electronics with chart plotting, speed, depth, and wind data. The electrical system has been upgraded with dual DC breaker panels, allowing switching between house and lithium battery feeds, along with a 130-watt solar panel integrated with a Victron Smart Solar controller. A separate 120-volt AC breaker panel with ground fault outlets and a battery charger support both shore power and onboard charging. The main sink features a DC water pump while the head retains its factory hand pump, and all interior lighting has been converted to LED.

The sails include a 135% genoa in good condition, mainsail with cover, whisker pole, and boom vang. Additional equipment encompasses lazy jacks, a canvas companionway cover with sliding panel, dock lines, bumpers, and all required Coast Guard safety gear including a handheld VHF radio, personal flotation devices, flares, and fire extinguishers. Fresh bottom paint was applied recently.
