2006 Catalina 42 MkII

This 2006 Catalina 42 MkII is a centerline queen layout cruising yacht built with a fiberglass hull. The boat carries a single 55-horsepower Yammer diesel engine, achieving a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 9 knots. At 42 feet in length with a 14-foot beam, it offers the stability and sea-keeping qualities expected from this established design.

A comprehensive refit completed in 2019 updated the boat's core systems. The standing and running rigging were both replaced, and new Raymarine electronics were installed including a chart plotter with helm pedestal and below-deck display unit, along with dedicated instruments. A freshwater maker producing 30 gallons per hour and an onboard generator were added during this period.

The boat is equipped with air conditioning, a rebuilt bow thruster (serviced in 2023), and a Schaefer boom furler for mainsail handling. Winching is provided by a Lewmar auto winch. The boat comes with a 9.9-horsepower Yamaha outboard engine and a 10-foot aluminum AB dinghy. Full River AGM batteries were installed in May 2026.
