2006 Chaparral Signature 290

This 2006 Chaparral Signature 290 is a 31-foot fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Volvo engines delivering 540 horsepower combined, with a cruising speed of 35 knots and top speed of 45 knots. The boat spent its first 17 years in Minnesota freshwater, winterized and stored indoors during the off-season, before being relocated to Florida in late 2023.

The cabin layout accommodates up to six guests with a convertible dinette forward, U-shaped mid-cabin dinette, and double aft berth with privacy curtain. A full galley features solid-surface countertops and pressurized water system, while a private head includes a VacuFlush system, mirrored vanity, molded sink, and hand-held shower. The 10-foot beam provides stable handling and interior space. Additional amenities include a 10,000 BTU air conditioning system, electric cabin table, cedar-lined clothes closet, and lockable translucent cabin door with vented aft cabin windows.

The cockpit offers wraparound seating with dual wide bolster helm seats and tilt steering, a wet bar with molded sink and cooler, and an extended swim platform. The boat features a walk-through windshield, full canvas cover with Isinglass enclosure, and rod holders. A remote spotlight and sun lounge deck pad are included.

Recent upgrades include a complete rebuild of both outdrives, reconditioned propellers, replaced outdrive through-hull mounting frame on the starboard engine, new stereo system with Fusion tuner and amplifier, Simrad ESS Evo3s 9-inch multifunction display integrated with NMEA 2000 engine monitoring, new 24-inch smart TV with forward-facing camera, secondary bilge pump with alarm, and rudder indicator. House and engine batteries, various hoses, and cabin AC components have been replaced, with regular oil and fuel filter changes and full hull polish completed recently.
