This 2006 Chris-Craft Corsair 36 is a fiberglass cruiser built on the timeless lines of one of America's most respected boatbuilders. At nearly 40 feet with a 12.5-foot beam, it combines classic styling with modern capability. Twin Volvo Penta D6-310AB diesel engines with new Aquamatic stern drives deliver smooth cruising at 32 knots and a top speed of 42 knots, paired with the fuel economy and reliability that diesel power provides.
The 2024 refit has touched every system and finish. New Volvo stern drives, a fresh Westerbeke generator, and a new refrigeration system were installed. The engines were fully serviced in August 2024, with drives serviced, bellows replaced, and props reconditioned. A new 50-meter anchor chain, new electronics and navigation systems, and new 12V systems were fitted throughout.
Interior and exterior work included complete teak restoration, full re-upholstery in marine vinyl, refinished timber work to high-gloss finish, and a professional metallic silver hull wrap. The hull and topsides were polished, waxed, and varnished. Antifoul and Propspeed were applied in August 2024. A new custom boat cover was included, and a new generator was serviced and certified.
The boat offers refined overnight accommodation and a spacious cockpit suitable for entertaining. Service records spanning more than a decade are on file.
