This 78-foot aluminum motor yacht was purpose-built for professional research, inspection, and offshore operations. Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing 1,600 horsepower, the boat reaches speeds of 17 knots. A Dynamic Positioning System with integrated controls allows the yacht to maintain precise station during ROV and diving work, making it exceptionally capable for specialized maritime tasks.
The accommodation includes three cabins arranged for a total of seven berths, along with a fully equipped galley and dedicated saloon. The wheelhouse features excellent visibility and direct access to a dedicated ROV control room positioned below the bridge. Navigation and positioning systems include autopilot, radar, dual chart plotters, echo sounder, sonar, GPS, gyro compass, dual VHF radios, and specialized oceanographic software including Hypack and Olex systems.
Operational equipment comprises a Linx Seaeye ROV rated to 1,500 meters depth with 400 meters of umbilical onboard, a hydraulic manipulator arm, high-quality underwater camera, a 200-kilogram capacity crane with 1,000 meters of wire, and a Van Veen grab for seabed sampling. Two air compressors support diving operations. The boat features an ROV garage with hydraulic doors, an aft tender with hydraulic door, and joystick control systems. Construction throughout uses high-quality marine components.
