2006 Formula 240 Bowrider

This 2006 Formula 240 Bowrider is powered by a MerCruiser 496 MAG engine with 375 hp and Bravo 3 outdrive, the largest factory option for the year. The boat has approximately 350 total engine hours and has been used exclusively in freshwater. A fresh lower unit and transom assembly were installed in 2023, with only 16 hours of operation since. Recent engine maintenance includes new plugs, wires, three AGM batteries, and the boat runs on a closed-loop cooling system with SmartCraft gauges.

The 24-foot hull features a newer Bimini top and a custom full canvas enclosure completed around 2018. The enclosure includes a clear front curtain, screened sides with solid interior panels, a walk-through door, and a large screened window, transforming the boat into a cabin-style setup for cooler weather or camping. A factory porcelain toilet with holding tank and Y-valve, along with a transom shower, are installed. The boat carries a sport arch and is equipped with a Pacific tandem-axle trailer.

Navigation and entertainment systems include a Garmin ECHOMAP UHD chartplotter with touchscreen and UHD sonar, a Standard Horizon GX1700 VHF radio with GPS and DSC, and a 2018 Punch Marine sound system with marine-grade receiver, multiple speakers, tower speakers with horn, amp, and USB/AUX inputs. The gelcoat and overall condition are sound for the year, with normal wear on seats and some floor staining typical of age. The trailer will need new tires and brake system service in the near future.
