2006 Formula 40 Performance Cruiser

The 2006 Formula 40 Performance Cruiser is a 40-foot fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 740 horsepower combined. The boat reaches speeds up to 35 knots and cruises at 27 knots, with trim tabs for improved handling and stability.

Below deck, the yacht features a single cabin and head, with accommodations finished in high-gloss cherry cabinetry and Ultraleather upholstery. The interior includes air conditioning and heating, a galley with a Kenyon cooktop, and a refrigerator. Entertainment systems comprise a JL Audio sound system and satellite TV. Navigation and control are managed by a Raymarine E80 chartplotter with SmartPilot autopilot and joystick docking via the engine control system.

The yacht is equipped with a Westerbeke generator, hydraulic swim platform, and recent upgrades including a new 16,000 BTU air conditioning unit, new refrigerator, new joystick control system, new steering system, new cabin flooring and carpeting, new engine computers for both ports and starboards, serviced and cleaned heat exchangers, and bottom paint with Propspeed applied. The fuel tank has been cleaned and polished. The engines have approximately 1,200 hours of operation and have received recent service on the powerheads and running gear.
