2006 Formula 40 Performance Cruiser

The 2006 Formula 40 Performance Cruiser is a 42-foot fiberglass-hulled boat powered by a single 370-horsepower Volvo diesel engine. Recent mechanical work includes new engines and pods, new batteries, alternators, starters, and turbos, along with updated Volvo EVC displays. The boat has completed a 1000-hour cooling service in 2025 and runs with low engine hours.

Electronics and entertainment systems are contemporary. Navigation is handled by two new Raymarine Axiom 12 Pro plotters and a Raymarine Magnum 12KW radar with 72-mile range. Onboard amenities include a FLIR infrared camera, new transducers with water temperature monitoring, Rockford Fosgate audio with JL speakers and subwoofers, and LED lighting throughout. A new acrylic enclosure and custom reclining sun pads are fitted to the cockpit.

The interior combines open and private spaces. The saloon features a dining area and full galley, with a dedicated stateroom providing sleeping quarters. Climate control systems include air conditioning, heating, and an onboard generator. The helm offers good sightlines and modern controls. The cockpit is designed with a wet bar and ample seating, with direct access to the swim platform. The boat is maintained with a generator and accommodations for comfort at anchor or at the dock.
