This 2006 Formula 40 Performance Cruiser is built on a fiberglass hull with twin Volvo Penta D6 IPS 500 engines carrying just 350 original hours. The boat features joystick docking, a bow thruster, and a hydraulic swim platform. Having been lift-kept throughout its life with no bottom paint exposure, the hull displays a high-gloss Imron finish built with suspended stringers, AME 5000 resin, and individual lamination schedules.
The cabin offers up to 6 feet 9 inches of headroom and is appointed with quality leather upholstery and high-gloss cabinetry. Safety systems include an engine-room fume detector, automatic fire extinguishing, thru-bolted engine mounts on heavy-duty frames, a thru-bolted deck-to-hull joint, and foam-filled hull cavities.
Recent work completed in spring 2025 includes upgraded pods with new-style coolers, cooling kits, clutch plates, and shaft seals; serviced engines and generator; new Lewmar bow thruster; fresh batteries; new cabin flooring; and a stainless steel cockpit refrigerator. The electronics were upgraded with twin Garmin displays, a new dash panel, and Garmin radar package. Propellers and pods received Prop Speed coating. A custom Isinglass enclosure was newly fabricated and will be included.
