The 2006 Formula 400 Super Sport is a 41-foot express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 diesel engines producing 700 horsepower combined. The boat reaches speeds of 43 knots and cruises comfortably at 30 knots. A bow thruster with electronic joystick control, Westerbeke generator, and fully electronic engine controls support easy handling and operation.
The cabin layout includes a master stateroom, separate head with shower, and a galley outfitted with refrigerator, microwave, and stainless steel sink. The main saloon is air-conditioned. Above deck, the cockpit features a wet bar with ice maker and is designed for entertaining. Hydraulic engine hatch with integrated sun pads, extended swim platform with transom gate, and polished stainless steel windscreen and bimini top complete the exterior.
Navigation and entertainment systems include marine GPS, VHF radio, depth sounder, and a TV system with premium stereo throughout. A Westerbeke generator shows only 40 hours of use.
Recent work includes replacement of engine components—pulleys, belts, tensioners, water pumps, alternator, and starters. The bow thruster received a new motor and controller along with a new joystick. The interior was refreshed in 2021 with new couch, headliner, carpet, wood flooring, and LED lighting. The hull received a ceramic coating and three coats of anti-fouling paint in 2024. Battery, propellers, shift cables, head system, and various gauges and controls have been replaced or serviced. Annual oil and filter changes have been performed since 2021.
